We will update faculty, board and classes after the school starts.
Help Wanted–Volunteer Board Members
We are looking for new board members. The current board believe it is healthy to have some changes in the board after few years. Most of us at the board has been serving for about 2 years. The work required by a board member is minimal. If you are interested or simply want to hear more please contact our treasurer Jaleh at kassor.swedishschoolatlanta@gmail.com.
Interested in teaching Swedish?
Are you interested in becoming a part of the Swedish School of Atlanta. To be a teacher, requires that you are proficient in the Swedish language, love to work with children, and live in the Atlanta area. (We are a non-profit organization, and can therefore not sponsor anyone applying from outside the United States).
The Swedish School of Atlanta is a part time school meeting bi-weekly on Sundays. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning and teaching the lessons which focus on learning the Swedish language and culture. There is no requirement of a formal education, just the love for the Swedish language and for our kids!
If you want to know more, please contact Mia Peters at info@swedishschoolatlanta.org
